| In Modica we talk about light |
Modica (Ragusa). At the event "Contamination, Festivals of poetry, philosophy and border cultures" that from 16 to 19 June celebrates the arrival of summer in the city that is UNESCO World Heritage Site it talks about the relationship between light and identity of places through the light of Filippo Cannata and Emanuela Pulvirenti that illuminate the facade of the Cathedral of St. George. And the light is at the heart of the workshop "Baroque Light. For lighting of the historic centers of the south-eastern Sicily" organized by Maurizio Gianandrea and Filippo Cannata from the Academy of Light with the collaboration of Emanuela Pulvirenti, who will talk about how light could help to revive the identity of places. An exhibition with 37 works coming from the Museo della Permanente in Milan will be open until July 31.
